The Australian government has the power to stop unconvicted Aussie citizen Dan Duggan’s unjust extradition, after he’s already spent more than 19 months in solitary confinement right here in New South Wales with no local charges. 

The allegations against Dan are politically motivated in the United States ideological war with China. Dan faces 65 years in a US prison if convicted in a US court over 12-year-old claims that he strongly denies. 

US prisons are notorious for their high death rates, poor health standards, overuse of solitary confinement and complete lack of transparency.

• According to data collected by the U.S. Department of Justice, at least 86,173 people died nationwide in US prisons from 2001 to 2018. That is the entire population of Millthorpe, the Duggan’s hometown dying in a US prison every 4 months.  These figures have risen significantly since 2020.
• Studies have also shown that a 59-year-old in a US prison has the same level of health as a non-incarcerated 75-year-old.  
• Reports have revealed that more than 120,000 people are in solitary confinement on any given night in the United States. Solitary confinement for more than 15 days has been deemed torture by the United Nations. The US is NOT a signatory to OPCAT, meaning that there is no independent mechanism to conduct inspections of prison conditions and the United Nations is not granted any rights to inspect their prison facilities.
