I have written to the Prime Minister and Attorney-General to appeal to their Christmas spirit and set Dan free as “an act of kindness and expression of Australian sovereignty”.

Dan is currently facing his second Christmas in maximum security isolation despite no Australian charges, convictions or history of violence.

“I beg you to send my husband back to his six children in regional NSW where he belongs at Christmas. He has already spent 14 months in maximum security isolation with no Australian charges or criminal history, and that is enough. He is not a flight risk and has no history of violence. Just yesterday, Dan’s youngest daughter Ginger said the only thing she wanted for Christmas was her dad,” I wrote.
