Dan’s unjust extradition pushes on at the behest of the US, despite clear issues and #HumanRights abuses. The extradition will be heard on 24 May 2024 - 19 months after he was kidnapped from a carpark in Orange NSW in October last year.
 
International lawyer, Dr Glenn Kolomeitz, told the ABC the whole case was an exercise in lapdog diplomacy from the start. "This entire case has been Australia jumping through every hoop the United States  have put up … it's real lapdog diplomacy.  I hate to think what it's costing the taxpayer, but I know what it's costing the family. It's costing them the whole world, it's costing them everything."
 
As you all know by now, the Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has the power to stop this today.
 
Dan’s case has already been delayed for more than a year due to the refusal by Australian and US government departments to provide documents relevant to the case.
