RE: There Are Lots of Seats at the Table ....But, We're Only Give ONe (1)
Dear Choctaw Freedmen Descendants & Supporters:
It's Doris....I am writing you today on behalf of the Choctaw Freedmen Citizenship Footprints, (CFCF) Inc. I want to make sure you saw this email because the Leaders of the U.S. Senate Committee of Indian Affairs have scheduled a hearing to discuss the Freedmen which are the descendants of slaves formerly held and owned by the Five Civilized Tribes - Choctaw, Chickasaw, Muskogee, Cherokee and Seminole Nations.
We were given less than two (2) weeks advanced notice about the Freedmen Hearing which is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Washington, DC.
Who will have a seat at the table? There will be the Chiefs of the Five (5) Civilized Tribes, Twelve (12) Leaders from the U.S. Senate Committee of Indian Affairs and One (1) Freedmen Representative (Marilyn Vann) .
We Need Your Help!....What Can You Do? Call, Email and Write in to these Senators to let them know we need an additional meeting where representatives of all the Five (5) Disenfrancised Freedmen Organizations can attend and be heard.
