Green Qween has been UNANIMOUSLY approved by The Los Angeles City Council!!!
Firstly and foremost, I want to thank all of YOU. The thousands of YOU who through sharing, signing, donating and supporting us... gave us the wind we needed in our sails to get across the finish line. Without all of YOU we wouldn’t be here today. Your support has allowed for our dream of an LGBTQIA+ BIPOC Cannabis Dispensary by the community and for the community to blossom on the first days of Pride month!!
Also I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Council-Member Kevin de Leon and the rest of the City Council for believing in our shared vision and mission of building a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ BIPOC community. Also allowing us to use cannabis as a vehicle and economic engine for change by funding the construction of a @DTLAProud Community Center, which will offer critical services for our community members in need.
It’s our responsibility to our community to create organizations, safe spaces and queer owned businesses that give back to our community by building foundations for generations to follow much like the legacy of those who lived before us…. And because of YOU and your overwhelmingly gracious support we can now have the tools and engine to make real change for our community, together.
