Train rolling through Village Square Park in 1947

There are not very many images I can find of the earlier years of the Park and Train stations, but here is a great one from 1947. Aubrey Mattingly was a resident of Stittsville and avid observer of the railway scene in Canada from the Late 1920's. He lived most of his life in Stittsville and this is one of the images from his collection. The Train rolling through the park......if you see the little red arrow......that is what we believe to be the barn!! When I bought the barn in 2010, I researched and found little information on this beautiful little piece of Stittsville history. But we found this picture.
