My journey to becoming a police officer is deeply personal and meaningful to me, it has been my dream from a young age. Each individual who aspires to serve and protect their communities needs a wealth of training, experiences, education, and resources to aid them. This includes not just physical training, but also mental and emotional training, as well as education in law, human behavior, and community relations.

In 2019, there were over 697,000 full-time law enforcement officers in the United States, suggesting a strong demand for professionals in this field (Source: Federal Bureau of Investigation). Despite this demand, there is a lack of support and resources dedicated to training and educational programs for aspiring officers.

In order to provide better training and education to individuals like myself, whose future is rooted in this profession, it is critical that more resources are dedicated to high-quality, accessible police training and education programs. Greater investment in these areas not only supports individual dreams and ambitions but also strengthens our collective society by ensuring that our police officers are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to serve our communities effectively and compassionately.
