I'm pleased to announce that my request to lower the speed limit on SE Stark Street, from 82nd to 76th Avenues, was approved! On June 7th, PBOT crews installed new signs updating the speed limit through the core of Montavilla's Business District; reducing speeds from 30 to 20 mph. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition or submitted a letter of support! I could not have done this without the support of more than 500 people. Turns out, with a little organizing and persistence, we can change the system.
