The past 24 hours have been overwhelming—in the best possible way. Your comments, messages, and signatures mean so much to me. I’ve read every single one, and each story just reinforces how badly we need a lemon law in B.C. and across Canada.
From sensor malfunctions and software bugs, to defective coolant systems and recurring transmission failures, it’s painfully clear: this isn’t just my story—it’s OURS. And it’s time our laws caught up to protect all of us.
To Lynn—thank you for sharing your battle with relentless sensor issues. To Heather and Tricia—fellow ID.4 owners who are also stuck in the repair shop cycle, I hear you. To Kevin, Lorelei, Philip, and so many others—your experiences with VW, GM, Ford, and beyond prove this problem goes way beyond any one manufacturer.
Will, thank you for laying out the reality so clearly and powerfully. The hoops we’re expected to jump through as consumers are unreasonable and unfair. And I agree: we deserve clear definitions, fair processes, and real accountability.
This isn’t the end, this is just the beginning. Let’s keep the pressure on. If you haven’t already, please share the petition, share the Global News interview, and help me grow this movement:

Let’s keep pushing until B.C. passes lemon law legislation that protects all of us.
