Tibetan exile administration (CTA) and media's ongoing silence and seeming lack of action or public statements on the situation of the 17th Karmapa's inability to visit Sikkim for the last 24 years is noticeable. 

Yet, the Tibetan exile media coverage and press releases about the 14th Dalai Lama's recent knee operation in the US was huge.

The  CTA are elected to represent the interests of all Tibetans in exile and in Tibet, and all the five main Tibetan Buddhist traditions equally. In particular, to support and help the activities of the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, who is the supreme and only official head of a 900 year old Tibetan Buddhist lineage. Let us contact these political representatives with the petition and ask them what they are doing about the 17th Karmapa's visit to Sikkim and Rumtek Monastery.
