Background

Teen mothers in Tanzania face significant barriers to continuing their education, I led the petition in 2017 to change the decree of teenage mothers education ban that received over 100,000 signatures and in 2022 they allowed them to have access alternative education pathways policy changes is possible through collective advocacy however many still drop out of school due to stigma, poverty, or lack of resources, limiting their opportunities to break the cycle of poverty.

Why it matters  and how can $10 donation make a difference?

Across Tanzania, thousands of adolescent mothers are excluded from formal education, a primary challenge is the inability to afford basic education school fees, basic school supplies such as books, pens, school uniforms, and sanitary products.

For just $10, a teen mother can receive the necessary materials to attend school with dignity. Without such support, many remain at home, perpetuating poverty and inequality.

What is the Goal ? 

To support the education of teen mothers in Tanzania by mobilizing donations of $10  to provide essential school supplies and sponsorships that enable them to re-enroll and remain in school .
