Dear animal lover,
My name is Hannah. Like you, I am shocked by Co-op's continued chicken cruelty (all while talking up how 'ethical' they are!).
The biggest date in Co-op's calendar (their AGM, where members have their say on how Co-op does business) is just around the corner, so I've taken matters into my own hands.
I'm going to be outside the meeting in Manchester on Saturday 18th May, showing Co-op bosses that they simply can't get away with it any more.
41 people have already signed up to join me on the day. Imagine the statement we could make for animals if 100 people show up.
The protest will be peaceful and friendly, with the goal of showing Co-op bosses the depth of feeling that I know many of us share on this issue.
Will you be part of it? Click below to see all the details and sign up now.
As a Co-op member myself, I am outraged by the decision of Co-op bosses to ignore the landslide vote against the cruel use of Frankenchickens at last year's AGM.
They then added insult to injury by heavily promoting their new 'Space To Thrive' range, while millions of their chickens continue to suffer from horrific health problems as a result of being bred to grow unnaturally fast.
To cap it off, they've plowed millions into the shambolic Co-op Live arena, disproving any of their arguments that they don't have the money to help chickens.
Will you join me in taking a stand against this cruelty? Even if you can only join for a short time, your support would be so welcome and valuable.

Thank you for helping me build a better world for animals.
Yours,
Hannah Dickson, Co-op member
