Earlier this week, we were literally left out in the cold when we tried to deliver a letter to Co-op’s new boss, Debbie White, asking her to end their Frankenchicken cruelty.
It was a shocking way to ignore the voices of the 2,000 Co-op members who had signed the letter alongside Chris Packham.
But, you know what?
I think we have Debbie’s attention now.
The Mirror. The Daily Mail. The Evening Standard. 190 other media outlets. They all published news of the letter and Co-op's pitiful response to it.
Meanwhile, you boosted Chris Packham’s heartfelt video appeal on social media, helping it to reach hundreds of thousands of people.
And, today, we took out an ad in The Guardian addressing Debbie directly.
Imagine holding the fate of tens of millions of sensitive, intelligent chickens in your hands. I know what I would do. I know what you would do. And we will not stop until Debbie and the Co-op do the same.
Will you help us spread the word by signing our petition to Co-op now?

The days of Frankenchicken cruelty in the UK are numbered. And I am so grateful that you are here with us, leading the way against the biggest animal welfare crisis of our time.
Thank you for all you do for the animals,
Cordelia Britton, Head of Programs at The Humane League UK, on behalf of Chris Packham
