Chickens are paying the price for Morrisons’ profits. This cruelty has to stop.
Last night, you helped us deliver a Tweetstorm telling the public and Morrisons shareholders that an investment in Morrisons is an investment in animal cruelty. We managed to get the hashtag #MorrisonsInvestmentScandal trending in the UK and, by 8pm, over 10,000 tweets had been sent! This is a phenomenal effort and we could not have done it without you.
But the hard work doesn't stop there. Morrisons is still sponsoring chicken suffering, and until it signs the Better Chicken Commitment, we're not going anywhere.
Join the virtual Day of Action event
On Thursday 10th June, Morrisons is holding its Annual General Meeting. This is a major date in any company calendar, and it’s an opportunity for anyone with a stake in Morrisons to ask decision-makers important questions.
Next Thursday, on the day of Morrisons’ big AGM, we’re joining together to get our message across loud and clear: it’s time for Morrisons to finally listen and stop this cruelty.
