This morning, Chris Packham was live on Sky News speaking about the plight of supermarket chickens, and calling for supermarkets to sign up to the Better Chicken Commitment. Let's help him keep the pressure up!
Head over to one of the supermarket facebook pages below, and leave a comment on their latest post to say you support Chris Packham's call for change, and ask them why they haven't signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment yet!
Be warned - some supermarkets are sending misleading responses about their standards, claiming that some of their chicken meets or exceeds Better Chicken Commitment standards, but these make up only tiny proportions of all the chicken they sell, and the commitment is about improving standards for ALL the chickens in their supply chain!
