Morrisons recently became the first retailer to champion its use of British Lion egg ingredients in its range of quiches by proudly displaying the British Lion mark on pack. The Morrisons quiche range is hopefully the first of many products, across all major retailers, to put the Lion on pack as a public display of their commitment to supporting British farming.

The petition now has more than 39,000 signatures and is growing day by day. Every signature is a step closer to getting retailers to commit to using British eggs as the ingredients for own label foods produced in the UK and we believe that with your continued help we will make this a reality in the near future so please keep sharing.

Since launch, the campaign has received huge support, not only from you, but also from celebrities including Myleene Klass, various MPs and the national media. Together we can show our support for British farming and stop supermarkets in the UK using imported eggs in British produced food.
