Problem
Tonight we were informed that cuts will be made to BFA programs at Fredonia including the Art History major. The departments affected are the BFA Sculpture, BFA Film and Video Arts, BFA Ceramics and BA Art History.  These programs mean the world to the students inside them. Our facilities were just updated not 3 years ago to a state of the art facility with an entire part of a floor dedicated to the BFA sculpture and ceramics majors. An investment was made into the students that is now being reduced by the administration.

Solution
Students enrolled, alumni, faculty and community members need to make a stand to these cuts. There has to be another way. What's the point of spending millions and inviting students to join this program to cut it. I understand theyre supported until graduation but that doesn't save the faculty in the programs or undeclared majors looking into these programs. A change needs to be made.

Personal story
Fredonia has taught me so much. The incredible faculty within the programs have helped me grow and florish as a student and it's a shock to me that they're looking to make these cuts. Make a stand.
