We are concerned that the burial of the large whale on Sunday in the dunes at Wurtulla could possibly attract sharks to  a very popular local and tourist beach ,the location is approx 200m north of a patrolled beach ,in front of a large new residential development.This is the third occasion in the last month a similar situation  has occurred RE Port Maquarie and Ballina which ended with the council having to dig the carcass up and relocate to a better location due to residents concerns.
