Little Deger was found at the entrance of Animal Love Rescue Center when he was about a week old, and he couldn't even open his eyes. His mother was nowhere to be found, so his chances of survival were slim.

But the Center did all they could, bottle-feeding him day and night, and each day he grew stronger. Now, Deger is a big, friendly, playful cat.

Since 2005, the Center has rescued more than 3,000 dogs, cats, and other abandoned and neglected animals. With very few shelters in the country and no government aid, the Center depended entirely on tourism funding through the vegan hotel/restaurant Lands in Love, which has been completely shut down by the coronavirus.
