Stop Church View Medical Centre being used as an overnight residential Centre

We want to stop transferring ownership of the Church View Medical Centre in Silksworth to the YMCA so that they can house vulnerable young people and adults in our community.
This proposal is not based on need but simply shoehorning a proposal into a building as it is being transferred to them.
Why is this important?
Silksworth is a small urban village on the outskirts of Silksworth. A proposal has been made to transfer the ownership of Church View Medical Centre which was the village doctors surgery to YMCA to enable them to open a supported living accommodation centre with 24hr supervision.
This proposal is inappropriate and not in the best interest of the residents of Silksworth or for those young people and adults that the centre would seek to serve.
Accommodation of this type requires care and support and Silksworth as a village simply does not have the support mechanisms in place for a facility of this type.
YMCA have well publicised issues with its facility on Toward Road and Fence Houses.
Silksworth has sufficient issues to deal with and the location of this building is on the main route into the village which is simply not appropriate.
