For nearly six months a core volunteer group of Friends for Responsible Development (formerly FSC) has worked behind the scenes bracing for Dakota Pacific's next proposal to transform Park City's entry corridor at Kimball Junction.

Our time has come. DP representatives have submitted a revised site plan to the Summit County planning office with the intention to re-engage with the County Council this summer. Council and staff will work through consequences of the state legislature's power play in March, during the 2022 legislative session, which usurped local planning and zoning ordinances.

It is imperative that we as a community remain vigilant. The Council’s resolve and willingness to stand strong will be greatly enhanced if they continue to hear and feel the strength of our collective voice.

To that end, we are excited to announce the launch of our new website TODAY!

The reason for this broadcast email is to ask that you sign up for our distribution list by way of the FRD-PC website, and ask your friends to do the same. Personal emails work to a degree, but let's make it easy for every community member who cares to stay engaged in the fight to preserve the fabric of our mountain town.

Please forward this email to those you know will want to join the network. For those with the wherewithal, please click the donate button!
