All,

TODAY, is OUR day to let Summit County Council and Dakota Pacific hear OUR Voice on the proposal to add 1,100 residential units to Kimball Junction.

Read below for everything you need to know about TONIGHT’s 5PM Rally and 6PM Public Input Session at Kimball Junction!

5PM FAMILY FRIENDLY RALLY TO STOP DAKOTA PACIFIC

WHAT: STOP DAKOTA PACIFIC FAMILY-FRIENDLY RALLY

WHEN: TODAY at 5PM (COUNCIL SESSION AT 6 PM)

WHERE: MAXWELL'S RESTAURANT PLAZA, KIMBALL JUNCTION (next to Newpark Hotel)

Please join your fellow Parkites at a big, fun, family-friendly rally prior to the Dakota Pacific County Council meeting at the Newpark Hotel.

Pizza will be available from Maxwell's and we'll have several speakers sharing important information about the project and how you can help to stop it.

IMPORTANT: WEAR RED! Red is the official color of our opposition movement, and will let the council easily see the large number of people who are opposed to the project.

6PM PUBLIC INPUT SESSION WITH SUMMIT COUNTY COUNCIL

WHAT: COUNCIL SESSION WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO PROVIDE COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED DAKOTA PACIFIC PROJECT

WHEN: TODAY at 6PM

WHERE: New Park Hotel at Kimball Junction - Right next to the Rally location (1476 Newpark Blvd, Park City, UT 84098)

Valuable Tips for Tonight’s Meeting:

  • Though we are passionate about this issue, please keep all comments respectful
  • Please, no personal attacks (veiled or direct) against any council member or county staff
  • Honor the three-minute time limit that has been allotted for each speaker
  • Please address all comments directly to the council (not to the audience or developer)
  • Be clear, concise and factual in your comments
It is fine to make the same points as others; there is value in having the council hear the same concerns from many people.
  • Please respect the chair’s calls for order and let’s do our best to maintain order during the course of the meeting
