A few quick updates:

1. good news! A group of private citizens (the same ones that put up the https://www.stopdakotapacific.com website) has formed a legal entity called the Friends of Summit County for Responsible Development and has engaged a highly-regarded Utah law firm to advise and represent the community in its fight against the county and the developer. Costs for legal fees, online and print advertising, text campaigns, signage, and more - will increase as we approach December 1st, & beyond and depending on what happens at the council meeting on December 1, additional funds may be needed to continue the fight. Your generous financial support to ensure we can defeat this project is critical, so if you have just a bit of money to spare, please give by clicking on the button below.

The new organization have committed to periodically provide a full accounting of all donations and expenses to ensure total transparency and the more resources they have, the stronger our opposition will be.
