Our petition requested "City Council pause the decision to rename the park, until such time as a fuller community consultation is completed" and now has over 1190 names.  I want to thank each and everyone who signed and shared our petition.  But Councillor Moise is refusing to re-open the discussion, is unapologetic about his approach and is pushing through the change in park name.

 Moise's agenda, but our park!  Please come to the park on Sunday July 20 at 12:30pm.  Free hotdogs and water (while they last).  Councillor Moise will be attending the official re-naming; come and tell him that he should respect local input.
