Rose Cottage, the property that occupies the plot at 101 Hamilton Road. It was built in 1810 on eight acres of the former Nelson Estate by Hamnett Pinhey, a young London importer. Its outward historical charm may have been eroded somewhat but we believe that it should not be demolished as the new developers are proposing.

We want Rose Cottage to be preserved and refurbished as the current planning permission outlines and ask that Style and Space Contractors Ltd withdraw their application for demolition immediately.
