Help Support Penticton's New Lake View Development

The development of these stunning Lake View Lots in the Spiller Road development will provide the City of Penticton with many economic benefits.

The City of Penticton requested that Canadian Horizon’s provide a financial assessment. The city provided Canadian Horizon’s with a development financial modelling tool that assesses the financial health of a proposed development by inputting costs and expenses pertaining to the development, including the costs to replace the infrastructure at recommended intervals. Utilizing this financial modelling
tool, once the development is completed, the City could expect a $10,500,000.00 surplus!

Early in the development process off-site improvements will be required, and the City will receive significant benefits through the infrastructure upgrades associated with the project including the extension of sanitary services, construction of a new water reservoir and road upgrades at several key locations within the City.

Lastly, the proposed development would generate a further $6,402,706 in application fees, building permit fees and development cost charges (DCCs).
