Merry Christmas to all of you that have shared or signed my petition. There hasn't been any positive updates as of yet, however the class action that Judge Fallon of New Orleans put into place years ago hired Brown Greer to handle the settlements. I received a ridiculous settlement offer for $42.50. For years the class action has been dragging on with no end in sight. This type of class action is geared for those that still have their chinese drywall homes. I however lost my home due to it being condemned and the bank, builder, insurance company turning their back on us. I don't have an attorney because we were supposed to have a pro se attorney to assist us. The judge removed the pro se' so now I'm fighting this battle blind. I know I'll never be whole, however just to receive some of the lost equity, moving costs, health, relocation, appliance replacement, loss of use and the pure aggravation and unneeded stress would possibly help us become homeowners again. I'm devastated that this huge toxic hardship has never received the national attention it deseves. We are human's with children laying in beds with toxic gasses oozing from their mattresses. The walls outgassing in the entire home, with nowhere to escape. Innocent children crying out save me and no one to turn to. Pets dying with rare cancers, no explanation. Appliances, health and credit failing while the government shirks their responsibility. The entire Chinese drywall could have been avoided with the proper protocols in place. There are tens of thousands affected by this and no one deserved this. There is no future medical monitoring, toxic gas studies, monetary settlement to help put the victims lives back together. We are left holding the bag! Everyone please help by making noise, contact Congress, Consumer Protection, EPA, White House or whomever can make a change.
