Mr Lerro has previously been fired from Temple university for "anti- Semitic comments" Lerro's unprofessionalism, shown in his frequent YouTube "vlogs", as well has his website alessiolerro.com where he has a full blog section dedicated to Marxism. With full length Facebook discussions about how Lerro has said the death toll of the holocaust was "exaggerated". Mr Lerro has had experiences this year arguing with students and calling them out and embarrassing them in front of the whole class. With this constant conflict between students and teacher, learning is minimalistic. Frequently Lerro has yelled at students as well as even sometimes slapping them on the arm when they aren't paying attention. This type of behavior has no place in the classroom, nearing the end of high school education, the class of 2018 needs leaders who will push them in the final years of high school, and Mr Lerro is not that leader.
