Good morning everyone!

I just wanted to give you guys another update regarding the tuition petition. Our numbers are going up immensely! There are 5600 signatures, over 12,000 views, and almost 3000 shares! This is amazing progress and it will only go up from here. A lot of you are probably asking "so what next?" well, this is a waiting game to see how the ministry of education and our institutions will respond to our frustrations. In the meantime, I have been working behind the scenes on a project that could be very beneficial to University and College students. Here is information regarding my new initiative. We are looking for a team of students who are hard-working, driven,  and passionate about making change for students. • The MJ Project recognizes how tremendous Ottawa is and all the immense opportunities it implemented. Thus, our project would further the necessary support to the public who need it the most. We want young adults and kids to have the convenience within education that many people take for granted, such as books, educational resources, and aid with tuition.

• GOALS

  ➢  To create three separate funds that will help with tuition costs, school resources, and a fund to aid international students.
  ➢  To create a multi-school council in which we advocate for student issues.
  ➢  Collaborate with different companies who can further grow the MJ project.
  ➢  To create a wide range of bursaries and scholarships that students will be eligible to apply for.
  ➢  Receive donations from different organizations that will go towards future scholarships and bursaries

  (laptops, textbooks, money, etc.).

• Why this project?
  ➢  Plenty of companies and organizations have funds that are put towards the future of students but,​ ​what else are they doing to improve the educational experience? The MJ project is a student lead project founded by young, driven students who want to fight for a change. Our project is unique since not only are we a non-profit organization, but we are also a multi-school council who wants to be the voice of our fellow students. Help us create a community in which we help students who need support.
  ➢  This project will give a fair chance for students to voice their problems and concerns within their institution.
  ➢  Children who are born without a family can have a chance to start a fund from a young age therefore, receiving a fair education.
  ➢ We will be also collaborating with well-known organizations that will be able to help with the success of this project.
