The graduation ceremony was supposed to be on 14th of March, on a (Thursday).

there are no less than 1200 graduating students and a large percentage of their families are living outside the eastern region, to which they have already booked their flights and hotels.

a Thursday, is the most appropriate time for the families to visit their sons, not the middle of the week. 

i have no idea why did they change the dates, but the students and their families are what matters, not the other guests.

I do not know if this will reach out to the right people or not, but Let us try to gather as much numbers as we can to try and change back the date to a Thursday,
