From highway 58 , the first thing you see at central high is the track . Unlike other schools , like ooltewah high or soddy daisy high , our track is in horrible shape . There are cracks in the track ground , no bleachers what so ever, and you can't even see the lines where the team participates . A few of the teammates from our school went to regionals last year , and a few went to state .  We are a good school academically , but with the run down track being the first thing you see at our school , we just look like the bad , run down school some people believe central to be . A new track would be just a start to make our school better !!
