We invite students and all community members to join our
Student & Faculty Solidarity Rally
Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 12:00 pm
Lobby outside the gym, Building 5
If mediation does not result in a fair agreement, the stability of our education is compromised and our courses will come to a screeching halt. Our graduation timelines could be impacted.
Faculty have consistently stated they do not want to strike. However, they are prepared to take necessary steps to protect the integrity of our college, the quality of education we depend on, and their rights to adaquate pay.
This issue extends beyond contract language. It affects our clinical hours, class sizes, program availability, transfer pathways, and our ability to complete our degrees as planned. It also affects the future students who will walk this campus after us. We will gather briefly, hear remarks, and participate in a short march through campus.
When students show up, it reinforces that this conversation is about protecting education and ensuring long-term stability for Lane Community College. If you believe in protecting your progress and the future of this institution, we encourage you to attend.
Stand with us. Support a fair contract. Protect our education!
