Norwich City Council has a change of mind on St Augustine's ward boundaries!

The City Council seems to have had a change of mind about the proposed ward boundary changes. Items 6 & 7 in their new recommendations to the Boundary Commission say: 6) Transfer Prince of Wales Road to the Mancroft ward, rather than Thorpe Hamlet. 7) Ensure a large area of Saint Augustine's, between the inner ring road and northern boundary of the current Mancroft ward, is contained within one ward. These are among what St Augustine's Community Together Residents' Association (ACT) recommended originally! So, the war is not yet won but we have won a significant battle to change minds at the Council and I hear that our petition was influential. Please share the petition - let's keep going. Thanks.
