Fees Frozen for current students and 2016 Freshers!

Council has since determined that Home and EU undergraduate students already at Durham or entering in 2016 will continue to pay fees at £9000. The University will also continue to ensure that the fees paid by Durham students help us deliver accessible, transformative and enabling education and a wider student experience which is truly outstanding." - Professor Stuart Corbridge This could not have been done without you. With your support, current students and those starting their degree in October will have their tuition fees frozen at £9,000 for the duration of their degree. This is not a battle which is over, however - as we need to ensure that Durham continue to provide an "accessible, transformative and enabling education". The tuition fee increase for the 2017/18 intake has not yet been detailed as essential, and we have no specific benefits that come with such a measure. For this reason, we must continue to oppose this increase. If you have not already, join our campaign so that students who need the most support are not neglected.
