Thanks so much to everyone who has signed this petition - your stand is truly humbling and goes a long way to maintaining an education which is accessible, diverse and accepting. A well-known Durham mantra is that 'you should not let your degree get in the way of your education', but now we must make sure that wealth does not become the barrier which prevents students from receiving the incredible experience that Durham University can provide. If you can each get 10 people to sign this petition, we will have more supporters than members of St John's or St Chad's. Support this large would mean we cannot be ignored.
