Forestry petition passes the 1000 signature mark

Hi Guys, Thanks very much for your support. The forestry petition has received over 1000 signatures in less than 2 days, which demonstrates a strong demand for change in forestry practice. Many of you have also posted thoughtful comments which will be included with the petition when it is submitted. We plan to present the petition to the Mayor Richard Kempthorne and Deputy Mayor Tim King at the TDC on Monday the 5th of March. We will post a meeting time so that those who would like to join us can be there. The more the merrier. If you could continue to share the petition link with your networks between now and then it would be great to pass the 2000 mark.
