
We’ve heard from community members, staff, and concerned citizens—and it's clear: enough is enough.
The toxic work environment at Town Hall has reached an unacceptable level. We can no longer ignore the aggressive behaviour, the blatant lack of boundaries, and the ongoing failure to uphold respectful dialogue, especially from the one person meant to lead by example—the Mayor and Chair of Council.
Witnesses have come forward, reporting that staff have resorted to locking their office doors in order to feel safe while simply doing their jobs. This is not only disturbing, it’s a clear sign of a workplace spiraling into dysfunction.
Let’s be clear:
🔹 Leadership should never intimidate.
🔹 Boundaries must be respected.
🔹 Respectful conduct is not optional—it’s a requirement.
The role of Mayor comes with a duty to foster trust, professionalism, and a safe environment for all. Right now, that trust is broken.
We demand accountability, and we demand change.
