Spotify ändert zum 1.1.2024 sein Auszahlungsmodell:
Titel mit weniger als 1000 Streams pro Jahr werden nicht mehr vergütet. Das dadurch gewonnene Geld wird nach oben verteilt, also an diejenigen, die eh schon Millionen mit ihren Streams verdienen.
Kleine Künstler*innen werden auf Spotify seit Jahren durch das ungerechte Bezahlmodell eh schon benachteiligt, nun wird uns mit dieser Maßnahme auch noch der letzte Penny genommen.
Die Grenze von 1000 Streams pro Jahr ist völlig willkürlich gewählt. Eine Begrenzung der Ausschüttung, egal wie klein oder groß, ist nicht akzeptabel.

Kommt Spotify damit durch, ziehen andere Streamingdienste vielleicht nach und die Grenze wird sich mit der Zeit weiter nach oben verschieben. Das müssen wir JETZT verhindern!

Wir fordern Spotify auf, die geplante Beschränkung zu kippen und auch kleinen Künstler*innen ihre Gewinne auszuzahlen - egal wie gering sie sein mögen. Es geht um Fairness und Anerkennung unserer Arbeit als Musiker*innen.


Lasst uns Spotify zeigen, dass wir das nicht mit uns machen lassen. Ich ermutige alle die sich hier eintragen dazu ihre Musik ab dem 1.1.2024 für mindestens einen Monat von der Plattform zu nehmen. Je mehr Bands und Musiker*innen mitmachen und je mehr ihre gesamten Communities aktivieren um auf das Problem aufmerksam zu machen, desto mehr Impact schaffen wir und desto eher muss Spotify handeln!

Dieser Appell geht auch an alle, die von der Änderung der Ausschüttung nicht betroffen sein werden. Auch ihr habt irgendwann mal klein angefangen. Seid solidarisch und unterstützt uns! 

Unterschreibt und teilt diese Petition und nehmt eure Musik als Warnung ab dem 1.1.2024 für einen Monat von der Plattform!

Spotify is changing its payout model as of January 1, 2024:
Tracks with fewer than 1000 streams per year will no longer be paid out. The money saved from this change will be redistributed to those who already earn millions from their streams. Small artists have already been disadvantaged on Spotify for years due to the unfair payment model, and with this measure, even the last penny is being taken from us. The threshold of 1000 streams per year is completely arbitrary. Any limitation on payouts, no matter how small or large, is not acceptable.

If Spotify succeeds with this, other streaming services might follow suit, and the threshold may continue to rise over time. We must prevent this NOW!

We call on Spotify to overturn the planned restriction and to pay small artists their earnings, no matter how modest they may be. It's about fairness and recognition of our work as musicians.

Let's show Spotify that we will fight for our rights and for our money! I encourage everyone signing here to remove their music from the platform for at least one month starting from January 1, 2024. The more bands and musicians participate, and the more they activate their entire communities to draw attention to the problem, the greater impact we will have, and the sooner Spotify will have to take action!

This appeal also extends to those who will not be affected by the change in payout. You, too, started small at some point. Be in solidarity and support us!

Sign and share this petition and withdraw your music from the platform as a warning from January 1, 2024, for one month!
