PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND ATTEND THE RUTHERFORD COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS MEETING ON OCTOBER 3RD AT THE RUTHERFORD COUNTY HISTORIC COURTHOUSE!

We will have T-Shirts, Buttons, and Stickers available to anyone and everyone who attends the meeting!

At this meeting Public Works will be discussing Jackson Law as it relates to the WastAway Facility. Jackson Law is a state law that requires BOTH the city AND the county to approve construction of all trash facilities. We need to let the county know we do NOT approve the construction of this facility and they should vote NO!!!

In order to make a public comment at the Rutherford County Public Works Meeting on October 3 you need to call Mayor Joe Carr's office at (615) 898-7745 by 4:30 on that day. PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP!!!!

It is VITAL that people speak at this meeting. I know that public speaking is not for everyone BUT this is the only way to make our voices heard!
