Stop Warehouse and Trucks

Of the remaining four warehouses proposed , three are located on Homestead Road. This is your community, your home, your quality of life, your property value, and your town.  Your voice is needed to determine the future vision of our town.

Our quality of life will be greatly affected if a 24/7 warehouse operates near our neighborhoods. How will our roads be maintained with such heavy truck traffic?  This gravely affects the safety of drivers and truckers. Inexperienced student drivers traveling to the high school will be at risk!  There are many safety risks and costs, without clear answers.

Below is a brief update of the proposed warehouses and the upcoming meeting dates.

189/203 Homestead Road (the size of NINE football fields)

Thursday, July 11th at 7:00 in the Municipal building court room.

The applicant will continue to present findings from their Planner, Christine Cofone, and the public will have an opportunity to question Ms. Cofone on her findings at this meeting.  This is the last witness for the applicant.

The objectors for this application will begin to present their experts in opposition to this warehouse complex. It is important for the public to hear testimony over the next few meetings from Clay Emerson (stormwater and flood management), or Kenneth Hausan (traffic) and Carlos Rodriquez will present his planning report.  Their testimony will show how our quality of life would degrade if the warehouses are built and need to be reinforced by members of the public.

Weston Road  Thursday, September 5th at 7:00 in the Municipal Courtroom.

The Weston Road Planner finished his testimony and the public finished their questioning at the June 6th Planning Board meeting. Craig Emerson, from Princeton Hydro started his opposition testimony for the Hearthstone Weston Road community but was unable to finish.  He will continue to testify on Thursday, September 5th.  When he completes his testimony, the applicant and the public will have the opportunity to question him about flooding, water retention, and other findings.

Lawn Signs

Do you need a lawn sign?  If so, please send an email to suzanneochse@aol.com that includes your name and address.  There is no cost and the sign will be delivered to you.  Show your opposition to these warehouses!  Let your voice be heard!
