Get Involved: Join NNRD and Attend Tuesday’s Commissioners Meeting

Hi neighbors, an important update on the proposed warehouse site:
The warehouse/depot proposal has been withdrawn. Following litigation between the Town and the developer, the property has now been rezoned for several potential uses, including a data center.
At this time, the project is still in the pre-application phase, and no data center has been confirmed. However, residents remain concerned about the possibility of this type of development and its potential impacts on our community, including air pollution, noise, flooding, property values, utility costs, and strain on local infrastructure.

There will also be a Town Commissioners meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18 at 7:00 PM in the Commissioners’ Chambers. Residents plan to raise concerns about the site during the public comment portion. If you would like to attend in support or make your own public comment, please join us.
