 Hi everyone,

Thank you to every single person who showed up at Wednesday's Planning Board meeting. Multiple people told us that it was the most well-attended meeting they’d ever seen and that our presence truly made a difference.

Because of our turnout and collective voice, On3/Prism has agreed to submit a new proposal, one that, allegedly, will not include a warehouse with 40 trucks. The decision has been postponed until Wednesday, June 18th at 7PM to give time for this updated plan to be reviewed.

This is significant, but the fight isn’t over yet!

Here’s what you can do:

1. Keep Showing Up
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 18th at 7PM. Let’s fill the room again and show that we’re still watching, still organized, and still fighting for an environmentally safe solution that fits into our Nutley community.

2. Spread the Word
This is the time to expand our reach across Nutley, especially to those who may not yet have heard about this project at all.

Have more people sign the petition.

Print and distribute flyers from using the google drive link here: Google Drive
Slip them into mailboxes, send them as emails, post them online, or hand them out to neighbors, we’ve made it easy. If you want to be more involved, feel free to email us at drmarklyall3@gmail.com.

3. Reach Out to Local News
Help us get more visibility by flooding local news outlets with our story. If enough of us email them, we might be able to break through:

  • CBS2: desk@cbs2ny.com
  • PIX11: wpixnewsdesk@pix11.com
  • News 12 NJ: News12NJ@news12.com, NJDesk@news12.com
  • Patch: eric.kiefer@patch.com
  • NJ Advance Media: tips@njadvancemedia.com
  • The Observer: editorial@theobserver.com
  • NJ Herald: lcomstock@njherald.com, kmorel@njherald.com, bscruton@njherald.com
  • NorthJersey.com: newsroom@northjersey.com

Just a quick message explaining what’s happening and why it matters can go a long way. Share your story. Share your concern.

4. Reach out to the Mayor, the Commissioners and On3 and let them know we are still watching.

  • Mayor John V. Kelly III — (973) 284-4972 — mayorkelly@nutleynj.org

  • Commissioner Thomas Evans — (973) 284-4997 — commissionerevans@nutleynj.org

  • Commissioner Mauro Tucci — (973) 284-4969 — commissionertucci@nutleynj.org

  • Prism Capital Partners Founder Eugene Diaz — Eugene.Diaz@prismpartners.net
  • Let’s keep the momentum going.

We are being heard. Let’s make sure we’re not ignored.

See you on June 18th.
