Thank you again for signing our petition! We ask that you join us at the LMT Board of Supervisors meeting on July 19th (Wednesday next week).
As a reminder:
Verizon wants to build a 155-foot cell tower at Congregation Beth El (375 Stony Hill Rd), which we do not want because:
- We live in a residential neighborhood that is NOT zoned for this, and Beth El isn't zoned for it either. (Put it somewhere that is)
- It will change the characteristic of your neighborhood and diminish property values.
- It will impact our health and environment negatively (https://ehtrust.org/ )
Our Ask:
Attend LMT Board of Supervisors Meeting Wednesday July 19th to encourage our elected leadership to take a position in opposition to the proposed project; you can voice you opinion during public comment section at end of the meeting. The meeting agenda, location, and options to participate will be posted Monday July 17th at https://www.lmt.org/government/bos/
Additional details on the cell tower: Project includes a diesel generator, 200-gallon fuel tank, chained 2500 sq foot area at base of tower. More found at: https://73e756.p3cdn1.secureserver.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Original-Plans-Appeal-23-1999.pdf (Appeal 23-1999)
