Clarification from the BVA

Regarding the email I posted yesterday; some supporters were unsure of the BVA Policy so I have asked them to clarify it: Susie Child (BVA) Attachments09:39 (4 hours ago) to me Dear Jo, We are calling for an end to non-stun slaughter, so we would like 100% of animals in slaughterhouses to be stunned before they are killed. We are not calling for a ban on Dhabihah slaughter for Halal food and Shechita slaughter for Kosher food. Our concern does not relate to religious belief but to the animal welfare compromise of non-stun slaughter. Hope that helps. The problem we face is to convince Cameron to make this law.
