With the Prop K lawsuit unresolved, the park is technically temporary. So, why are we adding hammocks and a piano before basic signs? Whether it’s a highway or a park, people using shared space deserve to be safe.
We now have 498 signatures and more than 10,000 views. Just 2 more signatures to reach 500. Let’s finish strong.
Sunset Dunes is missing the basics:
🚫 Clear signage on every block, in multiple languages
🚫 Visible lane markings to separate fast users from pedestrians
🚫 Safe crossings between east and west sides
🚫 Education and outreach with partners like Walk SF and SF Bicycle Coalition
🚫 A commitment to safety under Vision Zero and the City’s own Precautionary Principle
🖊️ Help push this to the finish line:

Let the City know that public safety must come first
Thank you for standing up for a safer Sunset Dunes Park for seniors, disabled users, children, and everyone who walks.
