Radiotherapy UK, the Catch Up With Cancer campaign along with a coalition of cancer charities will join forces on this important day to showcase the reality of being a cancer patient in the UK and why a brave and bold National Cancer Plan is needed sooner rather than later. In the last decade alone, hundreds of thousands of patients have faced delays in receiving the life-saving treatment they so desperately need. The ongoing cancer crisis in the UK means that we still have a long way to go to provide a high-quality and timely standard of care for patients who need it the most.
