There is currently a human rights emergency in Honduras, as shown yet again by the killing of environmental activist Félix Vásquez in December 2020.

When you were Foreign Secretary we were dismayed the Government sanctioned sales of telecommunications interception equipment to Honduras. We urge you to now heed the call from Honduran groups that the UK permanently stop exports of surveillance equipment and arms to Honduras' illegitimate and repressive regime.
