Hello supporters!

I'm reaching out to you to today to share yet more fantastic news in the progress of our petition.

On January 9th, we met with the Minister of State at the Department for Education, Nick Gibb, to discuss with him the changes we propose being made to the guidance for Sex & Relationships and PSHE lessons, and why we believe menstrual wellbeing should be taught in schools.

Nick Gibb was positive about our campaign, and as a result, has invited us back to deliver our petition to him in person. The icing on the cake is that this will take place during National Endometriosis Awareness Week, March 4th-10th.

This is a huge step forward for our campaign, but we’ve not won yet.

I'll be in touch again nearer the time with a final ask just before the meeting, but in the meantime, I wanted to thank you once more for your unwavering support and to remind you to keep sharing, signing and breaking the period taboo.

We're nearly there!

Alice Smith, Endometriosis UK Trustee and Young Ambassador
