To those of us living in Vermont Town Meeting Day is the first week in March.  In order for out petition questions to be placed on the Town Meeting Day agenda to be voted on a few things have ro happen.

1. 5% of the eligible voters in a town or city need to sign the petition.
2. the petition must be given to the town or city clerk 47 days before Town Meeting Day. That means early January 13th.
