We received a response from the SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) today, 15 December 2025:

"Kindly be advised that the Commission is investigating this matter. On 25 November 2025 the Commission had a meeting with the City of Tshwane regarding this matter and we resolved to do an inspection in loco this week. We will keep you updated."

In short: the SAHRC is investigating, recently met with the City of Tshwane, and is doing an on-site inspection this week. They’ll keep us posted.

We’re also consulting attorneys for legal representation and will share our action plan soon.
